Here's the weirdest thing of the year. I think it's some kind of signals but still am busy trying to decode.
The other night, I went to a funeral of a cousin somewhere on a distant edge of town. To be honest, I wasn't even sure where it was. I hailed the cab from a restaurant near the toll and we took the ring road, then Cibubur, then somewhere else, like an hour an a half with little rain.
Someone sent me a Google map of the location, along with the address and as it turned out, the taxi driver knew where it was and we needed to stop only once for direction. I sat in the back mostly working on my screen and paid little attention to the man but gave him a little tip for the easy ride.
Five hours later, around four in the morning or so, someone drove me up from the house to the nearest ciggy station, which was like 20 minutes away. I bought a fresh pack and a teh botol and looked for a playlist and hailed a cab. One was nearby.
I told him where I wanted to go and we set forth. It was early morning just after the rain and the air was cool so I rolled the window down just as we entered the toll gate. Right about then he mentioned that he was most likely the driver that dropped me off earlier. Like the same cab driver.
What are the odds of that happening?
But it did.
